Songes Drolatiques & weird little dudes

My main plan for this blog, inasmuch as there was any plan, was to post some weird little guys I'm writing.

I started with Les songes drolatiques de Pantagruel (usually translated as The Drolatic Dreams of Pantagruel). It's a book of woodcut images, supposedly made by Rabelais before he died, but actually made by someone else.

An anthropomorphic... radish? Maybe? Holding two simple horns leading to his smiling mouth.

All of them are pretty weird.

I decided to interpret them as characters who inhabit a fantasy world, some people I could slot into whatever game I'm running. A few of them might end up as character classes. Some of them I skipped altogether, but that's less exciting to talk about.

I'll be adding some of those entries soon, assuming I don't continue to only post on spring holidays....
